About Me

Professional Cat Canoodler

Hey! I'm Mona, a dedicated professional working in E-commerce and currently managing a friendly local wine bar in Leytonstone.

I grew up in the country side and always ended up saving stray cats and bringing them home.

Later in life this little hobby of mine turned into a career when I joined London's first cat cafe: Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium. I worked there for 5 wonderful years as a cat carer, learned about animal welfare, did a Pet First Aid course and studied Animal Behaviour and got to know all the incredible moggies we had under our care and absolutely fell for them all.

For me a cat's personality is what matters the most. I enjoy discovering what they like, what games gets their interest and, of course, I love all the benefits such as purrs, nose bops and cuddles.

I have my own little trickster at home called Loki. We've been best pals for 10 years now.

Long story short, I am no stranger to cleaning trays, water fountains, brushing cats (using furminator, etc), clipping claws, administering medicine, teeth cleaning, eye cleaning, etc. I can be flexible when it comes to visiting your kitties, usually have the morning and evening available if keeping it local. Oh, and I will always keep those cat pictures on point.

Always happy to spend extra time with your furry friend and I am usually in London over the holiday period.

I am happy to visit beforehand in order to meet you and your cat(s), to make you feel more at ease.

    We had Mona look after our cat Mochi for the first time and couldn’t be happier. She was kind, attentive, and clearly loves animals. Mochi got lots of playtime, brushing, and cuddles — and we got great photo and video updates. She made us feel at ease. We’d gladly have her again!

    Mona is a cat whisperer! Our cats are quite nervous around strangers but she managed to get them comfortable around her and even playing with her very quickly. She really went above and beyond to spend lots of time with them and even left us a gift of something they liked to play with. We would highly recommend her.

    Mona was literally amazing, she had such a great bond with my cat from the start and spent hours giving her attention. I got photos and videos on a regular basis with updates so we could be reassured our cat was okay. Minke will be sad not to see her every day!
