About Me
Cat lover who is more than happy to look after your lovely fur-babies!
Hi there! I'm Katy, I'm a 26 year old cat lover and musician. I grew up in Shoreham and after studying for my undergrad in Guildford, I moved to Worthing in October 2020. I recently graduated from BIMM Brighton with my Master's degree in Popular Music Practice.
I think it's fairly obvious that I'm a cat person! One of my cats from back home (a 8 year old european shorthair called Lynxie) moved in with me on the 4th of December 2020 and she's become my closest friend and the absolute love of my life ❤ It warms my heart to have a cat in my home again. I’ve been a cat owner for over a decade, as we used to have 2 cats back home named Tigger and Jazz. Tigger sadly passed away in November 2022 and it broke my heart as I rarely saw them because my mum lives with them out in France.
I have always been an animal person. I love cats but I also love dogs and have a lot of experience working with farm animals. I've been riding horses for 18 years and I grew up in rural France so I've spent a lot of time working with cows and goats as well. I used to be our village's go-to animal sitter!
Overall, I'm a friendly, calm and sensible person. Your fur babies' health and happiness is my top priority, and I'll do everything I can to make you and them feel safe and comfortable.
Also please note that my lovely boyfriend, Ollie, sometimes helps me with cat sitting jobs as he drives and I don’t! He’s a fellow cat lover who has had cats all his life. He currently has a big ginger cat called Charlie that lives back home with his parents in Oxford.
If you have an older, more chilled out cat, then my lap is always available for him or her to fall asleep on (or next to! Not all cats are lap cats!).
If you have a young and energetic kitten, then I'm always down for playtime! (I remember how crazy my 3 were when they were tiny)
It's easy to reach me via text or a phone call so if you ever have any questions or concerns, I'm more than happy to put your mind at ease. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your cats in the care of another person.
