Serene Space Cleaning & Cat Sitting
Hi everyone! I’m Jade, a 29 year old animal lover from Exeter. I’m a proud cat mum to Toby and Luna aged 8, who I adopted from Axhayes Cats Protection in Exeter. I love them so much I have created their very own social media accounts 😆 I also have a beautiful 3 year old son who will be brought up around animals, gently and kindly, knowing that they are great companions. Sometimes he comes with me to visit the cats I look after, (of course with permission from the owners) which he loves. I also have a baby girl so when she is older, she can follow our footsteps! Alongside being a mum and an animal lover, I run Serene Space, which is a domestic cleaning and pet sitting business. I have recently won an award for “Solo Cleaner of the Year 2026” at the National Cleaning Industry Awards, which was a super proud moment of mine! I am fully insured, DBS checked and have references / reviews on request. Not only have I been brought up around and have experience with cats from kitten age right up to age 20+, I can look after various other pets including small dogs, birds, fish, rabbits and hamsters. I can also administer medication for your pet if it is required. Growing up, I’ve realised that each and every animal’s lives have their own story and personality, which makes them so unique and precious and should be packed with as much love, fun and heart-filled experiences as possible. With this in mind and choosing me as your sitter, I can guarantee that your cat, as well as your home, is taken care of, ensure that all of their needs are met and that we get along really well! You will receive daily updates from myself, whether that be a photo or two, a video or a description of a glimpse into my visits, ensuring that everyone is happy.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I always come to the owner’s home to look after their pets as they are much calmer and familiar in their own environment. Ensuring less stress and worry.
Ratings and reviews
Jade did an amazing job again! She made sure the cats had everything they needed (food/water and litter all sorted), she gave a helpful update with the report card, and she even tidied up their toys for them into a neat pile which was such a nice surprise as I was fully expecting the cats to have thrown them all over the place - a small unexpected detail, but it just goes to show how considerate she is!
Jade was outstanding. She sent regular updates about our cats including what's app videos and photos. She went above and beyond on a daily basis. Our cats were very comfortable and relaxed in her company which says a lot. She was thorough and diligent and clearly really cares about the companion animals in her care. We would recommend her to friends and family without hesitation. Thank you for everything Jade!
Jade was excellent. She provided updates for every visit with lots of pictures. Cats were very happy. Would definitely recommend and hope we can book again x
Second visit from Jade and she was just as brilliant as the first time. She took great care of my cats, making sure they had all the food and water they needed and sent such a lovely, detailed report card after. Jade is very trustworthy and professional and much beloved by my cats (even the shy one!) and I'll definitely be booking her again, would 100% recommend!
Thank you for looking after our cats! They were very happy and so am I!
Jade was absolutely brilliant! She fed, played with and cleaned up after the cats. Both seem happy and well looked after. Jade even managed to coax out my shy cat to play, so she must have some cat whispering magic. Loved the little report and pictures too, what a nice touch. Thank you Jade!

Schedule
During term time, I run my cleaning business 5 days a week and usually commence my cleans after my children have gone to school and nursery. If I have a morning cat sitting visit booked, I start them before my cleaning schedule. Then once my children are in bed, I can proceed with my evening cat sitting visits! When it is half term, sometimes they come with me on my visits (with permission from the pet’s owner/s) and I ensure that they are calm and behaved around the pets.
- Jade can take up to 2 drop-in visits per day
- Please inform me of any allergies, medication that they may be taking, any specific feeding time schedules and whether they are to be indoors or can be let outside.
- Drop-In Visitsvisits in your home£14per visit
