About Me

The cat whisperer

Hi there!

I’m Lorna and I work in HR. I’m 31 years old, have lived in London for 6 years and am originally from the North East. I got my first two cats at the age of 7 and sadly said goodbye to them in 2017, but over lockdown in 2020 my parents adopted a 3 year old rescue called Billy (seen in my picture giving me a clean!) and in October 2023 I adopted two rescue kittens called Lucky and Reggie (bonded brothers who are now my furry children) so I’ve got a lot of experience looking after our feline friends!

I’ve put the cat whisperer as my title as this is what I’m often to referred to by my friends, as I seem to have a knack of encouraging even the most timid of cats to come and say hello! If I went away I’d want only the best for my cat, so you can feel confident in knowing that I will always give them the care and attention they need and deserve.

  • walking if your cat likes to go out and about!
  • light grooming
  • administering any medication required

All of the above will of course be accompanied by plenty of strokes (and the odd treat)

    Lorna looked after Pumpkin so well whilst we were away! She sent loads of cute pictures, spent plenty of time with him each day, and made sure he felt loved and safe with lots of treats, playtime and pets. We came back to a very happy, relaxed cat and will definitely be booking with Lorna again 😸

    Lorna was great! It was our first time leaving Enzo with someone who wasn't a friend or family member & she put us at such peace with lots of photo updates! She spent so much time with him by working from home from our flat & playing with him too which we really appreciated!

    Lorna is great - she looked after our two cats beautifully, playing with them, giving them love and dealing with the occasional gifts they brought her in return…we missed the cats a lot and it was lovely to see pictures of them everyday with updates on what they’d been up to. Lorna clearly loves cats - they’re missing her already!

    Morry hates everyone, but he seems to love Lorna which is the highest praise we can give! She is great at dealing with our grumpy old boy and his medicine needs (and his velociraptor like ability to break in and out of stuff)

    Morry had a great time with Lorna, who clearly is a cat whisperer as he is usually quite cautious around strangers but went straight up to her! We came back to a happy (well..as happy as he gets) cat, and she had given him his medicine three times a day. Super happy!

    Felt very happy leaving our 2 cats in the care of Lorna for a week. She clearly loves cats and quickly made friends with our two who were very chilled out on our return. Very reliable and great at communicating.
