About Me

Central Edinburgh Cat Sitting

Hi! I'm a student at the University of Edinburgh, originally from Newcastle, England. The main thing I miss about home is looking after cats - my own and others. I have a cat back home, named Calix - he's got some issues, ranging from past kidney disease to partial blindness, but I love him all the same. I've lived with cats my whole life - Peggy, Jeffrey, Jemima and Calix over the years (odd names I know). I've also looked after cats for neighbours and family friends. Cats are amazing animals, and are all so different - different personalities, favourite things to do etc. I love making cats happy, whether it takes playing with them for hours or just cuddling up on the couch. I'm happy to do basically anything. I'm content to just sit and pet a cat for as long as they want me to, no complaints. I'm also very accustomed to getting lazy or blind cats to play and exercise, and earning the trust of suspicious cats. I'm absolutely happy to feed, give required medication, and clean the litter of any cat!

    Amy cared for my cat for 10 days while I was away. She was responsive and I got updated about my cat with photos and videos everyday. I then returned home to a happy and relaxed cat. Highly recommended!

    Amy was absolutely lovely, we came home from our 2-week holiday to two very happy kitties and a clean home Amy was super caring and spent loads of time with our cats and gave us plenty of updates and pictures. Would definitely recommend her to anyone in neeed of a pet sitter and will be hiring her again next time we're away - the cats loved her!

    Amy looked after our cat Minnie for 10 days while we were away in Thailand. She agreed to stay at our flat during that time and it made me really happy to know that Minnie would have company. We got regular updates and photos throughout. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the holiday knowing that Minnie was happy and well cared for. We returned to a spotless flat and a very happy kitty!

    Amy did a great job looking after a our cat Lola who was recovering from an operation. She administered the medications and gave lots of love and attention to Lola. From the photos and videos Lola gave a big thumbs up to Amy.

    Amy has been really great and being a strong support. Super kind and responsive ( pictures and report every visit) she has done more than what she was supposed to! Cats said they had a great time with her :) for sure recommended and I would be happy to leave the cats with her again
