The Wapping Cat Whisperer

Hi, my name is Mel. I work as a trainer and legal advisor, and occasionally as a bar manager at music festivals! I’m working from home so can be flexible with my time. I’ve had three cats, all rescues. Tufty reached the age of 22, sadly beautiful Prince died suddenly last year, and majestic Mary Lou now rules our home. They have each had ailments, including thyroid, kidney disease and digestive issues, so I’m experienced in giving medication and providing extra special care and attention.

I’ve used Cat in a Flat sitters to care for our cats whilst going on holiday so I know how worrying it can be to leave them. I’ll follow all your instructions to the letter and keep you updated with pictures.

I’m happy to give medication if required and am an expert at brushing fluffy coats. I love all cats and will give cuddles and attention if they want it, or leave them be if they don’t.

I have a car and can help with vet visits if required. I’m also happy to water plants and collect post if required.
