About Me
Animal-loving sitter with years of experience as a cat owner, sitter and foster
Hello!
My main reason for joining this website is to have an opportunity to spend some time in the company of cats, since I'm not allowed to have one in my rented flat, and my neighbour's cat can have a break from me, haha.
I'm a professional, working in the tech industry, and currently working from home.
I've been surrounded by cats my whole life. I spent my childhood 'adopting' all the strays, barn and neighbours' kitties. I've owned 3 cats of my own (all rescues), fostered 14 of them and cat-sat around 15.
I have also been a house and cat-sitter via TrustedHousesitters website, MindMyHouse, Pawshake and Rover and can share all the reviews.
Rescues and fosters that came to me were often in a bad state, either bottle babies and required 24hr care, or injured and sickly, recovering from a surgery or trauma, often very scared.
I have cleaned their wounds, changed their bandages, applied and administered medicine and found them homes (or adopted them!)
Having a cat around me is simply part of my life!
In addition to that, I'm a very practical and resourceful person, and can easily solve and fix many unexpected problems around the house.
Note I'm currently only available for overnight stays.
I don't think there was ever a cat I didn't like and/or didn't get along. I can read their body language well and respect their autonomy and space.
(If you have a dog, budgie, hamster or guinea pig, in addition to the cat, I have experience there, too!)
If your cat is not the friendly or cuddly type - it's all right! Sometimes I just enjoy watching them play or sleep or listen to their purring - very therapeutic, don't you think?
I always send owners daily updates, photos and videos as a reassurance of their pet's well-being and so they don't miss them as much!
