Mobile cat carer

As an outline of me and some of my characteristics, in no particular order... Non-smoker Non-drinker-I'm not sure that half a glass of wine a year counts Efficient-Quick response to correspondence both pre and during house sit. As long as I'm in a wifi zone or I have phone access, I will respond ASAP to requests and pet updates. Very organised-I pride myself on being organised both in my own life and where it may affect others. For those who have watched the series 'Friends', many of my students nicknamed me Monica because I had considered every possible eventuality! Respectful-I have my own rental properties so I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your possessions in the care of a complete stranger. I will treat your home, belongings and pets with the utmost respect. I will also be very mindful of your neighbours. I too like mine to be quiet! Responsible-I have owned three homes and lived in numerous other rental properties. I treated them all equally well, as if they were my own, and attend to any maintenance issues promptly. Likewise, I would inform you of anything I felt needed attention Clean and tidy-You won't come back to a disaster area! I will leave your home as I found it or, even better. Reliable-I was brought up to do what I have said I will. There have been many times over the years I wish I hadn't agreed to do something but, it's a hard habit to break! I won't let you down at the last minute, without an exceptionally good and unavoidable reason. Safe and secure-For my teaching career I have to have a police check/enhanced security issued by the British government, which is verified annually-so I have no hidden misdemeanours! This allows me to teach at any school in the world.

I have been living and working overseas for 14 years. Having been a Head of Department in Secondary/High Schools in the UK and internationally for 21 years I decided it was time to take some time off for myself to do what I love and travel. I have had my own homes overseas and the UK so I will take very good care of yours.

I have spent five years backpacking around the world on and off. I still want to experience new places but, I've had enough of sleeping in dorm rooms. I will treat your home like a palace! I love being outdoors and I'm very happy wandering aimlessly for hours through cities or countryside. I enjoy running, generally keeping fit and photography so, travel is perfect for these.

Over the years I've housesat regularly for friends and I have completed many UK and international housesits via another website, since September 2016-gaining an overall 5* review from my home/pet owners. I have homes of my own in London that I have lived in but are currently rented out, since living overseas. So, I completely understand that it is daunting letting strangers into your home and to be responsible for your pets. Growing up my family always had cats and I have always wanted my own but, I wouldn't feel right getting one until I'm more settled. House sitting is a great alternative-except that I have to leave the cats behind! I’m extremely well house trained and I have huge respect for other people's property because I know the worry of trusting your home to someone else. The only danger I pose is over-cuddling the cat/s- if allowed, of course.

I will lavish your cat with attention and be sure that they have a lovely holiday experience in their own home, while you're away. I have administered many medicines over the years, cleaned ears, hand fed sick kitties, organised emergency vet visits, walked, rescued from snakes and, even blow dried cats! Whatever your cat's routine is, I'm sure I can follow it. I am also happy to complete most regular household duties eg. plant watering, post collection etc.

I have a DBS/police check, enhanced security, for my teaching career. It is checked/ renewed annually and allows me to teach at any school in the world.
