About Me

Flexible & short notice cat sitting in East Sussex

I’m Kate, 41, in Polegate. I have two cats currently, and have rescued, adopted and fostered many others over the years. I grew up fostering cats, and have volunteered for the cats protection charity as a helpline advisor. I frequently cat sit for my neighbours. I do not work so my availability is very flexible. However, I now have a 3 year old daughter that I take care of. This may affect my availability and will be a factor to consider if I cannot leave her elsewhere when I visit your home. (Will always discuss this with you in advance of accepting a booking!)

I’ll be very happy to meet and spend time with your cats! Let me know what they do and don’t like and I’ll adapt to their needs. I know not all cats like strangers, but I am determined to make them all feel comfortable. If this means just sitting quietly for a while so they aren’t lonely, or playing or cuddling - I’m happy just being around them. Happy to look after your plants and leave lights on, radio on, bins out etc!

    Kate was amazing with our two cats while we were away, and made lots of time to play with them too. She sent photos & videos each day which helped alleviate any worries we had about being apart from our cats. Both cats were very happy and content when we returned. We highly recommend Kate!

She sent us photos and videos and corresponded with us every day leaving us to enjoy our holiday safe in the knowledge our 3 cats were safe and being thoroughly spoiled in our absence.     From the moment we met Kate we knew Freddie would be in safe hands. Kate was absolutely fantastic and gave Freddie lots of love, attention and cuddles!
