About Me

Alice's cat sitting

I have always been a cat lover, and have owned cats for 20 years. My first cat was a beautiful ginger kitten called Rodney. We owned him from 6 weeks old, and brought him up in our family home. He had a very unique character and entertained us everyday with new antics. Unfortunately Rodney was run over after 6 months, but he will always be remembered.

I then became the very fortunate owner of Mitzy, a rescued cat of 2 years old. She then lived with me for a further 17 years, unfortunately passing away last year of old age. Although incredibly shy at the beginning of owning her, after a lot of love, care and attention she became more friendly and adopted a whole new lease of life! After losing Mitzy I am missing a cat shaped hole in my heart, which I would like to fill by cat sitting.

I am a 32 year old single woman, who lives in Kingston upon Thames. I do not own my own transport, however I am willing to travel. My love for cats has even made me get 2 cat themed tattoos!

I love spending time with cats and will be very attentive, caring and gentle. I will always treat the cat as advised by the owner, as I know each cat has its own unique and beautiful character.

    We hired Alice for overnight stay for a week. She left our cat alone for 23 hours without fresh food or water and lied about being with him and sending us old videos. She brought a man over who spent the night without telling us. When we gave her feedback she took it on board & spent the rest of the time with our cat. ---------------------------------REPLY BY SITTER--------------------------------- Dear Niki, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, I was faced with a family emergency which kept me from attending to Floki as per the normal arrangement. Due to the upset of the situation I was dealing with, I sought comfort in asking my partner to be with me at this time. This is not my usual practice, as proven by my glowing testimonials to date. I do apologise again for this, but hope that you’ll understand my predicament at the time, whilst trying to balance both situations. I appreciate your trust in me and willingness to engage me in looking after Floki.

    Alice was a star, not only looking after Enz but helping me when she visited. I broke my leg & returned early from holiday. Alice kept up with her visits making sure we were both alright. Great videos & photos while I was away & happy cat.

    Alice was very professional. Friendly and sent daily updates that showed that she was getting more and more accepted by our cat each day 😅 Our cat was very relaxed when we got home. We ended up cutting our trip short and dismissing her from the last 3 days of the booking, and she promptly offered to return the money for the days she didn't need to come, which was really nice.

    We will definitely hire her again!

    Alice took really good care of our cat whilst we were away for a few days. We loved the daily photo and video updates and Alice was really helpful in looking out for a parcel that got delivered. We already have plans to book her again :)

    Alice was great. She came by everyday at the same time, giving my cat a consistent schedule. She always updated me on everything that was going on went above an beyond with my cat's needs (even when he was not feeling great). Will rely on her services in the future for sure.
