Experienced diabetic cat mum, willing to help!

I'm a recent graduate of UWS Paisley, and have a newborn preemie and I work in a secondary school in West Lothian but currently on maternity leave! I spend most of my time studying sitting reading. I have a cat and a kitten who I love playing with and spending time with, especially when I'm studying. I've had Smudge for over ten years, and he likes to play rough with claws and teeth, so I understand that's always a risk when playing with cats. I trained Smudge how to do a lot of things because we rescued him from a previous owner when he was still very very young and we had no choice but to take him from his mother, due to the fact that she was so ill, so I had to train Smudge how to clean, and hunt etc. Since I have had a cat for so long I have become highly aware of situations where the cat does not want to be played with etc. Smudge is also diabetic, as such I’m used to testing his blood and giving him his insulin injections twice a day! Mush is only two years old, and she loves torturing her brother! She’s part Maine coon and absolutely mad! So I’m used to the kitten energy too!
