Friendly and experienced cat sitter in Forest Hill.

Hi, I’m Hannah and I have been cat sitting for over twenty years!

Joining Cat In A Flat was a great way to get to know the local area when I moved here from Kent six years ago, and I’ve never looked back. I don’t have cats at the moment but my children have become very friendly with the neighbourhood cats that visit our garden!

My eldest daughter (13) absolutely adores animals, so provided it’s ok with you (and your cat) she often comes with me to help when she isn’t at school, and is an excellent ‘cuddler-in-chief’. I’d always check first of course as some animals aren’t familiar with children - in which case I’d come by myself.

It’s been wonderful getting to know the cats of Forest Hill - there are some cheeky characters around here, and you can see some of them in my ‘Furry Client’ photos.

I appreciate how much pets are part of your family, so will take excellent care of them (and your home). I’ll send you regular updates via text to let you know how we are getting on, and I’m more than happy to send photos and/or videos too.

I’ll always arrange a visit in person before our booking begins to meet you and your cat/cats (or small pets!). It’s important that you feel comfortable with me cat sitting for you, plus you can show me where things are kept and talk me through feeding routines/times, cat litter, toys, treats and the things your cat likes/dislikes. I pride myself on providing the same care and attention that you do 😻

I’ll also organise a time to collect keys, and always make sure I can get in and out of your doors before I leave (especially if your lock has a knack to it!).

A standard visit is around 20-30 minutes, but if your cat is particularly playful or cuddly it often ends up being longer!

There’s also the possibility that I can work from your home for a few hours (on weekdays) if you’d like company for your cat during the day. This is something I’m happy to discuss.

I’m very happy to water your plants when you’re away, and of course I’ll take in any letter and parcels that arrive.

I may be able to stay overnight for shorter bookings but due to family commitments this isn’t always possible. I’d be delighted to discuss options with you.
