Cat lover

My name is Michelle and I work for the NHS and nothing beats coming home to cat purrs! I work quite long hours but am happy to pop by before and/or after work - and during lunch if I'm working from home.

I have my own cat, Gryff. He’s 13 years old and I love him more than anything. He's recently moved back in with me after having to stay with my mum for a few years, which I'm very happy about - I still have lots of cat love to give though. I also have a cat in America, I co parent with my best friend who lives out there. Of course, I don’t get to see him very much but I love him just as strongly. He’s a bit of special needs cat in that he has very bad anxiety and needs a lot of extra care and some medication.

I grew up having cats, when I was born we had 5 cats and until I went away to uni there was never a time we didn’t have cats in the house. People who say cats are mean or don’t care, clearly just don’t know how to take care of cats - they have the best personalities, give the best snuggles, and are just all round amazing companions! I hate living in a place without cats, it just doesn’t feel like home to me!

I have plenty of experience in pilling cats (became an expert after Gryff had knee surgery in 2020 and needed multiple antibiotics and painkillers a day - all while confined to a cage!) so am happy give your cat any medication it needs. Happy to do any basic grooming needs as well, gryff is shorthaired but my cat in America (Benny) is longhaired and hates being brushed so have some experience in dealing with that.

Free first meet to make sure it’s a good fit!

Can attempt to teach them tricks (not guaranteed, I taught gryff one trick but that may have been a fluke!)

Love to give treats

Can give medication and do some basic grooming for long haired cats (and others if the need it!)

Will water your plants and take good care of your home

And all the usual cat care necessities like litter box cleaning, feeding, snuggles, play time etc

Will take plenty (by plenty I mean an excessive amount) of photos and videos and update you as much as you like!
