About Me
Cat sitter in Nottingham
Hello, my name is Aynel, I grew up with many cats, however I don't consider myself to "own" them. Cats can live fairly independently around humans and just spend time around people's houses with some help where I lived, before moving to England. My childhood home had a relatively big garden, ideal for a big cat family to flourish!
In more recent years, I looked after two, lovely, unrelated female cats called Scamp and Ria for approximately 4 years. I lived with them, and therefore spent a lot of time with them and was very active in their care.
I'm now lucky to be living with two cats called Honey (mum) and Mocha (her kitten)! Honey is very sweet and Mocha very energetic, both rescues and both adore cuddles! :)
Why do I love cats? They are my purry soulmates :) We understand each other, don't judge each other, we both love sleeping, treats, and sunshine :) I swear they also read when we are not looking! Plus their behaviour (independent, quirky, whatever people like to call them) captivate me. I fully appreciate their nature! I honestly adore them because they are cats...
I have learnt a lot about cats as they were constant part of my life and I had several companions/kitty best friends. I understand their behaviour, habits, know how to best communicate with them, how to train them and make sure they are having fun!
Over the years, I have fed, prepared litter trays, conflict solved (sometimes cats get along okay-ish), administered medicine, took to vets, and spent a lot of play and cuddle time with the cats I have known.
I am happy to help your feline friends/babies in lots of ways! There is a lot more to learn from them, as each cat is unique and have different needs. This means I am happy to discuss what you think is the best for them, and follow your instructions to provide the best care.
I'm currently able to do house visits up to two times a day, depending on the timing, and the pricing will depend on our proximity, may be cheaper or more expensive, so please feel free to let me know what you think a fair fee might be!
I have also looked after some caged birds as childhood pets in the past, and currently look after two goldfish (Talifish and Henfish) me and my partner rescued from a water barrel about 6 months ago, local fish experts tell me we have been doing a fantastic job (well, they said, the fish look very healthy and happy, so some credit was assumed) :) I'm happy to discuss and see if I can help!
