I am a 22 years old, friendly, easy-going English Literature student at University of Hull, and an owner to three wonderful tabby cats. My family adopted two stray kittens four years ago, and from the moment I saw them I fell in love. Consequently, one of them became pregnant and, when the time came, I assisted her in giving birth to four healthy babies, one of which my family and I kept – thus the magic number.

I consider my cats as part of my circle of friends, and I believe they deserve the same amount of affection and respect as any other person in my life. Moreover, I have an innate affectionate approach towards every pet or stray animal I encounter, and I will be as loving with your pet as if they were my own.

In light of my experience as an owner, I believe I am a trust-worthy person. During the last four years, I have come to possess the following basic pet-care skills: - Making sure the pet becomes familiar with myself - Ensuring the pet is fed at proper intervals - Putting out fresh water when appropriate - Performing grooming duties such as bathing, brushing or combing - Cleaning the litter box and/or food/water bowls - Observing changes in behaviour that might be concerning and acting accordingly - Last, but not least, ensuring the pet receives all the attention and love needed in form of cuddling, petting, and playing time

Furthermore, by having been working as a waitress in local restaurants over the past two years, I have acquired the following transferable skills: - Communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing - Excellent at following instructions, while at the same time, able to think on my feet and make decisions in unforeseen circumstances - Quick learner and easy adaptable to new situations
