Me & My Experience:

I’m a cat and general animal lover, always keen to make new animal friends!

I have 26 years’ experience caring for my cats. Plus several years’ experience cat sitting and working at a rescue centre cattery. I've also owned/pet sitted small furries, fish, etc. My career's been in the environment/wildlife and animal welfare sectors (and my degree was in Biology), reflecting my love of animals.

I have experience of administering a range of cat medication (pills, spot-on, syringes, ear/eye drops, etc.), special dietary requirements, cutting claws and grooming, including with my less than keen(!), feisty, very long haired Maine Coon. I also have experience of kittens and older cats.

I grew up with cats and wouldn’t be without them! I’ve been owned by several rescue cats (ginger and tortoiseshells) and now a Bengal and Maine Coon.

I’ve used CatInAFlat for my own cats for four years, so I understand what is wanted of a cat sitter.

I have a recent Enhanced DBS and Veterinary Medicine Diploma.

Cat Sitting Service:

I’d love to care for your cats and keep them happy while you’re away.

I can give them food, water, treats, clear their litter, and administer medicine if needed. I’ll pamper, groom, play with (and walk) them as much or little as they want, when they want – always on their terms! 😉 (I can bring grooming brushes, toys and fresh catnip clippings if needed). I understand cat language and cater to individual needs and personalities. (All my cats are/were very different, so I’m used to this).

I’ll care for your feline family as I would my own. Your kitties will be in reliable, loving hands.❤️

I’ll send you updates and photos/videos per sitting. I’ll arrange a (free) meet & greet beforehand to get to know you, your cats and your set up. I homework flexibly and drive, so can work around your kitty’s routine.

I’m happy to care for other small pets as well, water plants, take out/in bins and post, top up bird feeders, etc. 🐇🐁🐟🐠🐍🦎🦜

I cover Formby and surrounding areas, e.g. Hightown, Ainsdale. For overnight stays I can travel further, depending on the area. Up to 5 cats per booking.
