Cat Sitting (feeding, playing, strokes & cleaning)

Hello, I’m Amelia and I work a flexible day job as a chartered town planner. With a fair bit of spare time on my hands and as I love cats, I figured cat sitting would be a perfect little side hustle.

A bit more about me:-

I’m a bit cat mad. I grew up with cats and there has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had a cat. I still look after my parent’s 4x ginger cats when they go away which is quite often now they’ve retired.

I also have three cats of my own: Wolfie, Ivy and Mr B who are pictured in my gallery along with the blue mitted ragdoll, Milo, who I had since I was 19 and sadly passed last year from a tumour. Couldn’t not give him a mention!

In terms of actual work experience and although quite a few years ago now, I spent three years or so working in a cattery (Colinton Country Cattery) during my years at university. This was probably one of my favourite jobs - my actual day job is super boring! At CCC, I got to cuddle and play with loads of cats with varying personalities and needs whilst also doing a bit of cleaning. I can also administer medication/drops if required.

One day (when I can afford it), I hope to open my own cattery!
