Hi there! I’m Alannah, an aspiring screenwriter/part-time waitress/full-time cat person.
For 14 years, I was the proud owner of Clancy (a very grumpy old boy). Having grown up with a cat from childhood, I’m very much attuned to their needs and habits. I love giving them attention where it’s wanted, and can just as easily care for them when it’s not. I’m able to dish up appropriate portions of food, keep water bowls clean and fresh, and administer medication orally and topically.
I’m accustomed to keeping kittens and younger cats diverted with games and toys, just as I am able to give older cats plenty of love and care.
I'll always keep owners updated with regular photos/videos of the cat(s) while they're away and will collect/return keys in a timely manner. I'm prompt with communication and always on hand to answer any questions!
I’m attuned to the needs of older and younger cats, providing the former group with a bit of TLC and the latter with games and attention.
I’m great at building trust slowly, and patient when it comes to getting to know their mannerisms. This makes for top-quality cuddles (when they’re wanted!) and an excellent all-round relationship with the pet.
I’m able to administer medication orally and topically, though would want to consult with the owner before and after doing so. The same goes for giving treats. I’d need to know more about the cat’s health and dietary requirements in order to know how frequently they might be dished out.
