Cat-loving cat sitter in South Bristol
I'm Alex, a 42yo freelance illustrator & designer and do some cat-sitting on the side because I love cats :)
I often looked (and look!) after neighbour’s cats, then we had a lovely cheeky chatty cat called Zeus, and now we have Tom Stripes, a big ginger softie with a Paddington stare who pinches bread from the toaster if we’re not looking but lets us rub his tummy as compensation.
I use Cat in a Flat when we are away as we always worry (and miss him terribly), so I know how important it is to have a reliable cat-lover to visit and care for your buddies in your absence.
I volunteer with the cats at Holly Hedge one afternoon a week; sitting and chatting to them, playing with them and giving them a good fuss while they wait for their forever homes.
I'm reliable, organised and conscientious so your cat and home will be in responsible hands while you're away.
I'm a sucker for the purrs, head-scratches and strokes so will enjoy providing as much fuss and attention as your cat wants. Happy to crawl around, dangle toys and indulge playful cats, and also to be calm and gentle if that's your cat's thing.
I'm careful to follow instructions properly and always want to do a good job.
I'll gladly send you updates / pictures daily (it's what I always want when we have to leave our cat).
Obviously fine with sorting out litter trays, special food requirements etc., and I'm not embarrassed to ask questions if I need clarification - want to make sure I get it all right :)
If you want plants watering or recycling put out etc., I can be on top of that too!
