Cat Julz

EDIT - sorry, currently unavailable due to spinal condition affecting my mobility I dont remember my childhood without a cat. There was a brief time when we lost a cat but then the neighbours cat chose us to live with. All neighbours saw the attention I gave to cats so from a young age I was asked to visit and feed cats / water plants and collect post while they took trips away. Every holidays I was taking on responsibly of others cats as well as our own. I am nearly 50 and still in a position to be able to do this to support others and care for the wellbeing of their cats.

I would like to hang out with the cats as long as they will allow. I respect all cats are different and will let the humans know what they want. My latest house sit with 2 cats I was introduced to the cats and they did not really want to engage, I was informed they dont like human contact much. By the 2nd night one of the cats was sleeping with me and following me around and into the 2nd week the other cat was also coming to me and purring. Given respect cats will trust you. Overnight stays or house sitting does allow the cats to become more comfortable with you and them the control and freedom to come and go as a cat needs to.
