About Me

Mia’s Meows

Hi! My name is Mia and I am, of course, a cat lover! A few years ago, I completed my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, achieving two Distinction Stars and a Distinction, and I am currently working full time as a student veterinary nurse while also studying my vet nursing course. I got my first cat when I was 3 years old and have had cats ever since, I couldn’t imagine life without at least one of them. At the moment, I have 7 cats but this number is forever fluctuating, mainly upwards. I feel like everyone thinks that cats are mean and yes they have their moments, but I love cats because of how affectionate and loyal they can be as long as you treat them right. What better way to express your love for cats than by working with them!

I will be able to offer all the hugs and treats possible or even play and spend time with your cat/s if necessary. I like taking pictures so you can expect a ton of pictures from each visit! I can do daily visits or overnight stays, whatever suits you and your feline/s best. I have experience with administering oral medication, in both tablet and liquid form so I will be able to do that if your cat/s need it and I can do subcut & intramuscular injections. If you need me to do other things such as watering plants, I would be more than happy to do that too. I will do anything I can to keep your kitty happy while you’re away!

    Mia was amazing again looking after our cat who is not the most friendly but responded well to Mia. Mia also sent regular updates throughout the time we were away which was great.

    Mia was excellent with our cat and sent lots of pictures and gave lots of updates. She was quick to respond and our nervous cat really took to her over the week she was here. Would definitely book Mia again.

    Mia communicated well, was on time and sent plenty of photos and videos. Unfortunately there seems to have been some struggling with the litter tray. There were a lot of uncleaned clumps of pee at the bottom of the tray. Floki also seems to have puked or peed on the carpet in three different spots which has never happened before. Mia didn't notice this. Mia is lovely, but unfortunately I'm not sure she was a great fit for our cat and house.
