Stress-free cat sitting in Edinburgh for the anxious pet-owner

Hi there! I'm a 30 year old Cat Mum, living in Marchmont with two of my own little fur babies. I’m a secondary school Geography teacher but love looking after cats in my free time.

I'm an anxious pet-owner, and I know how hard it is to leave them behind when you're going on a trip, I'm here to reduce the stress of it all in any way I can!

My own cats have very different personalities, one doesn't like strangers and will hide under the bed until they're gone, and the other is an attention seeker who will accept belly rubs from anyone. I understand that every cat is different, and I'm here to provide a service that makes your cat comfortable while you're gone. If they want to play, I can do that until they're tired of me. If they want to snuggle, my lap is ready and I always have a book. If they want to hide, I'll make sure they have food and water nearby, and I'll do my best to try and reduce their stress.

I have experience with a lot of different cats - tiny kittens who have tons of energy, CH cats who need extra care, and older cats who need more attention and sometimes medication. My family cat was a diabetic, and I was in charge of injecting his insulin twice a day. I'm not 100% comfortable with giving tablet-form medication as I know cats are quite particular, however, I have done it in the past, and I'm happy to have you show me how to do it.
