About Me

Pawsome Cat Care!

Hello 😊

I am a self-confessed 'crazy cat-lady' and I absolutely adore all animals, esp cats. I foster cats for Mayhew in NW London and my recent fosters have just been adopted - (Lola, a recent foster, is in my main photo). Growing up I have been surrounded by cats and my flat always feels a little empty without some feline company.

I work in Central London and own a car, so I can be very flexible when it comes to where you live. I am currently working from home a lot more than usual, so have plenty of free cat-loving time on my hands! I am also DBS checked.

So... why hire me?

I shall look after your feline friends and your home with the same care that I look after my own. I shall make sure that they are well looked after with photo updates sent to you either daily or every so often - whichever you prefer 😊

My service can offer you whatever your cat/s needs: - free pre-meets (see below) and key collection/drop off - feeding and water in clean bowls - treat giving - litter box cleaning (including full deep cleans where required, brushing up rouge litter etc.) - plenty of company (each visit I try my best to be at least 30-60 minutes, consisting on playtime and attention should they want it!) - administering medication (I have vast experience in this through foster care) - post collection

I like to stay for a bit of time with each visit where possible to ensure your cat/s have some human company whilst you're away, but if this is not for you that is also fine. I am also happy to open and close curtains where appropriate to look like someone is home (for pop-in visits).

If you have any others pets, I am more than happy to look after these too - the more the merrier! I have experience in looking after dogs, rodents, birds, small animals (such as rabbits and guinea-pigs) and fish.

  • OVERNIGHT STAYS - I also offer house sittings whilst looking after your cat/s (these will be charged as overnight stays per day). Please note, as I mainly work within 3 miles of NW10, my preference for outside this range will be overnight stays (i.e. based at your home for the duration of my cat/home sitting), so I can spend more time with your cat than travelling. If this does not work for you or because I have a foster cat in my care needing a lot of attention, I am still happy to do daily/twice a day visits - alternative arrangements can be discussed. So please do get in touch and we can discuss what is best for you 😊

To summarise, I work around YOU and what YOUR cat/s needs. I am very good at reading their temperaments and gaining their trust. I am incredibly flexible, so get in touch and we can work on what you require from me for your pets.

I’m also more than happy to meet prior to confirming a booking for a coffee in a neutral space so you can get to know me before I meet the cats/visit your home, as I completely understand the worry about welcoming a stranger, not only into your home, but around your pets 😊 If you like me after our meet, I am happy to come round to meet your furry friends and learn more about what they need, their routines, where to find their favourite toys(!) and handover of keys. These two meet options will not be charged - I only charge for the actual pet-sitting service itself.

    This is the second time Amy has looked after Enki and since her last visit we now have another cat, Tocca, who is easily scared and timid, but she absolutely loved Amy. Cats were very happy when we arrived home. Would not hesitate to recommend Amy to anyone, she is so great.

She was friendly and professional when we met prior to our time away, made the visits as we’d agreed and spent time just giving the cats some love and attention. We came home to two very happy cats! Amy’s communication was spot on, she kept us updated without bombarding us with messages, striking the perfect balance. I would definitely recommend her as a top cat sitter and hopefully she can look after Bruce and Walter for us again in the future.
