Cat sitter in Cardiff

Hi, I’m Elyse. I'm a welsh speaking, Cardiff resident and know the city well. I currently work as a cleaner and am looking for a compassionate but rewarding way to make some extra money. I’m the proud Mumma of five gorgeous cats, Charlie, Plop, Cheeky, Khush, and Ephi, all under 5 years old. I spend countless hours playing, cwtching, and watching them interact with each other. I love watching their relationships grow and change over the years, they are fascinating creatures. My partner runs a rehoming service for snakes and we now have 8 snakes...quite the menagerie! I also have experience of looking after dogs and homes for family, friends, and neighbours, whilst they’ve been away.

I understand (from experience) that trusting someone to look after your furry family members can be difficult for both of you. You can relax in the knowledge that I will look after them as if they were my own and give them the love and attention they deserve. I have a huge love and respect for animals and I understand that each has their own unique personality. I can tailor my time with them to suit their individual requirements. I love playing for as long as they’re interested but I also know when a cat is shy or nervous and will give him or her their own space.

I am trustworthy, reliable and can provide references on request, should you require them. I am happy to work in the Creigiau/Pentyrch areas but can also do other nearby areas so please don't be afraid to inquire. I am available for both pop-in visits and day/night stays.

During my visits, I will make sure that your cat is well-fed, check and replace water on arrival and before I leave, check and change any litter boxes, play with your pets, and give them as many cwtches as possible (if I have been deemed an acceptable human by your kittie) I will also photograph and email any updates, so you know they are content and looked after.

I get so much from spending time with animals, whether they are mine or not, I would love to keep your kitties company and give you peace of mind while you’re away from home.
