Cat owner available to catsit in Romford and Farringdon area

Hiya,

My name is Mark and I work in advertising near Exmouth Market in London, but I live in Colchester in Essex.

My partner and I are currently loyal subjects to a domestic shorthair named Mimi, and she turns 13 years old in January next year. We hope she'll be less of a princess soon, but we highly doubt it.

Before I began catsitting, I used to volunteer at the Animal Care & Control Centre when I was living in New York, so I know how to handle cats which have difficulties socialising and who are uncomfortable around strangers.

That said, I can also be very affectionate with cats and am happy to spend as much time cuddling with your cat for as long as he/she likes. (:

I've been on Cat In A Flat for about several years now and have taken care of many very sweet, lovable cats with equally wonderful humans as well. I love cats in general, and have a little tuxedo shorthair named Mimi of my own as well, so I snap and send loads of pics and videos not only to give owners reassurance that their cats are doing fine, but also because I generally love gushing over cats! 🥰

If your little one has any special needs, I've also had experience administering eye medication for cats, feeding pills by hand as gently as possible, as well as feeding liquid medication through food too, so please don't hesitate to get in touch to chat about your fur baby's needs.

    Mark was absolutely fantastic looking after our cat Parker. He was totally professional and put us at complete ease when we met him beforehand and introduced him to Parker. Parker took to him immediately (always reassuring) and we felt very happy to leave him in Mark’s care. Whilst we were away, Mark sent us many messages, pictures and videos so we could see he was in safe, eating and happy. He even went above and beyond making sure Parker was brushed, fussed and cuddled. I highly recommend Mark to anyone needing a cat sitter!

    Mark was brilliant, he kept us up to date with regular pictures and videos of our cat and really put our mind at ease as it was the longest we had been away from our one. I cannot fault him and would definitely recommend, he clearly loves cats and is very good with them. We will definitely book him again!
