About Me

Rachel’s Cat Care

Hi! I am a qualified veterinary nurse, and currently working as an RVN for Medivet in Watford. I have never been without a cat (or 4…) in my life, and at the moment I share my life with 2 house cats; Leo, aged 11 who has been with me since he was 8 weeks old, and Fina, aged 2 who was a failed foster from work. Leo is incredibly chilled and usually sprawled out on my bed fast asleep, whereas Fina is the complete opposite and can often be found getting herself into as much mischief as possible! I also have a dog called Millie (approximately the same size as a cat though)

I have a keen interest in feline medicine, and enjoy nothing more than looking after our golden oldies in hospital. I am a huge advocate for the best care for our cats, and I am on a personal mission to create the best environment for them, whether that be at home with my own cats, at work with my patients or in your homes looking after your beautiful feline friends.

Professional cat cuddler, need I say more? During a visit, I will ensure your cats have their food and water available, clean any litter trays and of course give them some TLC. I find it especially rewarding to make friends with those kitties that are a bit more timid. I am trained to give medication, including injections, tablets or other type of medical care needed. I love to keep owners updated with messages, pictures and videos.

I also aways carry Dreamies.

Please do not hesitate to send me a message, we can discuss your requirements and ensure I am the best cat sitter for you and your fur babies.

Took fantastic care of our boys. Very reliable, great communication, cats were very comfortable with her straight away and she gave our cat his medication with no trouble at all. Would thoroughly recommend!

Rachel was absolutely great and I felt very comfortable leaving my cat in her care whilst I was away. Charlie requires regular fluids administered under the skin and because of her job as a veterinary nurse I was very confident in her carrying out this kind of task in my absence. Rachel did a pre visit with me and we went through everything and she administered his fluids with me, which left me feeling very happy I could leave my cat in her care. When you have a sick cat that requires a lot of attention and medicine it can be quite daunting to go on holiday, but with Rachel visiting I felt calm and was able to enjoy my trip away. Will 100% book her for future visits.
