Dr Martina, the Catcademic
Hello! I'm a young Oxford-based academic, although I am originally from a small town in Northern Italy. I come from a family of cat lovers -- I often joke that I was basically raised by a cat named Luna! We've had six cats in my lifetime, and almost always more than one at a time (currently three...). As you can imagine, being away from home and unable to have a cat of my own has been very hard! I would be honoured to take care of your beloved pets and most important household members.
I have been cat sitting residentially for several years now, but now I have a cat of my own, so I'm limited to daily visits! I will always make sure to include some quality time with your cat -- however they prefer to spend it! I'm particularly good at reading cat body language and behaviour (thanks Luna for teaching me good catiquette!), and I'm very good with boundaries, so don't worry if your cat is a bit nervous around strangers, I'll make sure they are comfortable. And if your kitty is outgoing and friendly instead, Monty, one of my previous clients who is featured in my profile picture, can vouch for my skills in the areas of high-quality cuddles and play time!
