Experienced Cat Sitter in Bristol - Happy to chat!

Hi there, my name is Jessie, I'm 28 and work for an environmental charity.

I worked at a cattery for over a year before I had to leave in order to go to university - where I studied Zoology. Working at the cattery was a bit of a dream come true for teenage me!

Working there, I came in at 8 in the morning to look after all the cats (over 30 cats in busy months), and that involved feeding, cleaning, brushing, giving medicine, treat-giving but most of all showering them with lots of affection!

I've carried on that ethos doing private cat care. Although it's not so rigid with timings - I'm very flexible as I work from home to my own schedule.

I am cat obsessed and will happily spend hours and hours in their company - from playful, non-stop energy-ball kittens to older cats who simply want to be stroked while they sleep.

In the last 4 years I've become very confident giving medications, both to my own two older cats (who have now sadly passed aged 18 years young!) and with cat clients who have had various medication needs.

Having dealt with many emergency vet visits with my two, I can assure you that I am a very calm, collected person and your cats will be safe with me - and probably a little over-fussed by the end of my stay!

I have a car so distance isn't an issue and I can keep up with any vet appointments if needed as well. Also I have no problem giving daily updates with pictures so that your mind is at ease while you are away.
