About Me
Cat lover seeking cats!
Hi, I'm Evelyn! I'm in my thirties and I'm originally from Ireland, but I've lived in Manchester for a few years now. I'm a software engineer and usually work from home with occasional office days.
We've always had cats growing up and I got the full experience of cat-owning, from feeding, playing and cuddling to cleaning / changing their litter and taking them to the vet. I'm also a regular volunteer at Society for Abandoned Animals in Sale as a "cat socialiser"! This mainly involves sitting patiently with cats who might be fearful of humans and encouraging them to come out of their shell, as well as playing with the more confident ones, grooming, changing their litter and doing the dinnertime feeding.
I give loads of cuddles and speak to them in an embarrassing high pitched voice. I will play with them or just sit and stroke them if they're more chilled out.
If they're nervous or shy cats then I have a lot of experience of this from my volunteering at the shelter, and know how to put them at ease.
I am happy to feed, change litter and clean up if they have any accidents!
If they require medication I can do this as long as we go through it together first.
