I'm Miranda :) Currently doing a PhD in Sociology at Cambridge, but I live in London. I'm in my mid twenties and I love reading, cooking, coffee and going for long walks in the sun. Professionally, I've worked in charity fundraising, with NGOs like Cancer Research UK in the past.

My partner and I have a young rescue called Ivo. We've had him for 2 years now! He's a small, playful, affectionate and very vocal Russian tabby. He's always getting into trouble outdoors around the neighbourhood (he somehow always picks Saturday evenings for any emergencies...) so I've gotten especially good at dealing with any emergencies that might arise! I'm good with flea treatments/traps, medication, and getting some feliway to go around if your kitty's missing you a lot and gets nervous. I used to live with Pancake before then, an older girl who needed plenty of grooming (so much floof!) and affection. Previously, I used to catsit 4 kitties at once for weeks in a neighbours' house when they were away in the summer. I did both overnight stays and regular day visits.

As a PhD student, my days are pretty unstructured as I work on my own and from home, so I am free to go catsit whenever you might need. So whether you've got an older bean or a kitten with cattitude, I'm your gal!

Many kitties get anxious when their person isn't around, so I hope to make their time a bit less stressful in your absence. I can do anything from the following:

• Feeding: dry, wet food, and any special supplements your kitty might need, replacing water, and cleaning food and water bowls. If you'd like, I'm happy to administer a few Dreamies/treat of your choice, within measure - your kitty deserves them for being such a trooper!

• Playing: every cat needs its exercise! Proficient with felt cat toys, feather toys, catnip mice/bananas/you name it!, bouncy balls and laser pointers. Happy to send you pictures of us having a grand old time.

• Litter: happy to clean it all up, litter-ally! Can also clean the litter box and change and replace the litter if you need.

• Grooming: experienced at glove brushing cats with thick coats, some really love it!

• Medication: I'm experienced with flea treatments and can also make sure your furry companion takes their meds, be it antibiotics or something else.

Finally, I can make sure everything in the kitty's surroundings is safe for them to roam around, and of course, send you prompt updates on how they're doing. I'm super responsive on whatsapp and messaging apps. I'm also happy to take care of a few house things you might want in order (eg. plant care and any other pet care), but we can discuss everything further! Excited to hear from you :)
