About Me

A caring and reliable cat lover and owner in Edinburgh!

Hello! I’m Claudine, and I live in Polwarth and work in the food industry here in Edinburgh. I am originally from France, but have been living in Scotland for many years, and adopted my lovely cat Lillie more than 10 years ago. She is a rescued, of course the Queen of the house! As an indoor cat, I’ve relied on friends and cat sitting services in the past to care for her when I go on holiday. Finding a reliable and trustworthy cat sitter is a non-negotiable when away from home, so I know the importance of entrusting your king/queen to someone empathetic, caring, knowledgeable and honest when you need a pet sitter! I now want to help more cat owners receive dependable and loving care.

I know how hard it is to trust someone new to take care of more than a pet, but your fur family, and also to have someone coming into your family home. If you’d like meet prior to booking and get to know me, I’m open to that as well!

I am able to pet sit anywhere in Edinburgh and will provide photos and updates to you on how kitty is doing for every visit (that’s so important to me, as a cat owner!). I am happy to follow exact instructions on your pet’s care, be that specific wet food details, treats, etc. Our cats need more than food & water and litter box cleaning, they need care and attention, so I’m quite happy to give playtime and cuddles (if kitty wants the cuddles!). I’ll also make sure your home stays tidy when I check in on your pet.

Once you request dates from me, I hold them off while we discuss needs and times so that no one else can book the dates from underneath you - so a courtesy to tell me if you are going to withdraw is appreciated! Thank you

    Claudine was a great sitter for our lovely Hecate. She gave us 2x daily updates about the things 2 anxious cat owners need to know: her appetite, her water consumption and her play times 😹 we felt very reassured that Claudine had everything handled and Hecate was well taken care of. Came home to a tidy flat and a very happy cat! Would recommend ⭐️

    Claudine was fantastic! She is extremely reliable and communication was 10/10. She was very patient with our shy cat, and spent time with her to make her feel comfortable! We received lots of photos and updates on the visits. She left everything very neat and tidy. I would highly recommend Claudine :)

    Claudine was absolutely fantastic with Kiwi and completely set my mind at ease while I was away. She was quick communicating with me and gave updates each day after she had been to visit. My cat is a little shy with new people but Claudine quickly won her over. I’d highly recommend Claudine to anyone!

    Another great job by Claudine. She had no problem giving my cat his medication and looking after his needs and I got an update twice a day which was very reassuring as this was a longer sit and Murphy was happy and relaxed when I got home.
