Cato's Catsitting

My name is Cato, which is already very similar to cat, gato, gatto, kat, katt and maybe Gatze (with some imagination). I am a 23 year-old environmental lawyer from Belgium! In the academic year 2021-2022, I will pursue another postgraduate on environment and sustainable development at King's College London.

When I was 5 years old, my brother and I both got a little kitty. Except, they were life companions. My kitty was a gorgeous calico, that I called 'Floor'. Perhaps it sounds like a pretty dumb name to an English speaker, but in my language it is the prettiest name for the prettiest cat. She gave me her love and devotion for a beautiful seventeen years. The last years she had hyperthyroidism, so I have knowledge on medicine and behaviour connected to thyroid problems.

Another thing. I love to travel and twice already, I have taken a little friend back home with me. The first one was a malnourished black baby cat that we found in the Pyrénées, France. Her name was Rudy, and she was fearless and very loving. The second one was a tiny tiny ball of fluff that I found in Kyrgyzstan, on the south bank of Issyk-Kul. There were no other cats on the property and she basically clung herself to me. After a lot of hassle and questionable vet visits, she came home with me. And now, she is waiting for me to come back home after my year in London.

I will follow up on your instructions regarding nutrition, water intake, playtime, belly rubs (with consent) and other. I can provide medication when the cat is used to it.
