Cat sitter in LONDON

Hello! My name is Ru, I’m in mid-thirties and based in SE London. I have cared for many cats (and homes) over the last ten years.

During the day, I work in events - I usually work from home 3 days a week. I currently live in a building that doesn't allow pets and as I'm a renter, I'm not able to get a cat of my own for the foreseeable future. I'm mostly keen on housesitting in London and other nearby areas, though I would also love to sit somewhere further afield!

I have lots of cat and housesitting experience - I've been cat sitting regularly for the last year and a half (20+ to date) as well as sitting for friends and acquaintances 4-5 times a year. I've also lived with cats in the past, so I'm well acquainted with caring for all sorts of cats. The sit lengths varies from several weeks to several months and I'm generally keen on long-term bookings. I have previously provided pop-in services but my preference is overnight/stay-in sits. I have experience of looking after cats with health issues and am comfortable with giving medication/extra care.

I'm currently based in SE London and am interested longer sits (ideally 1-2 weeks and up to 2-3 months) within commuting distance of London.

I pride myself on being a tidy, considerate, and attentive person. Pets are family and it’s important to know yours is safe and well cared for whilst you are away, which is why I always aim to maintain clear communication with the homeowner throughout the house sitting experience. I've had really positive experiences of cat sitting through other websites - I'd be happy to provide reviews from my most recent sits on request.

I’m happy to keep you updated with regular emails/texts if that’s something you prefer. I’m also happy to take care of any plant/light garden maintenance, take in deliveries or other house-related chores :)
