Experienced rescue cat owner & all-round pet-lover!

I've just moved back to Yorkshire after spending the past 9 years in London working for various tech startups. I've been doing pet sitting on the side for the past 5 years and absolutely LOVED it, so keen to carry on up here in Halifax. I'm curre tly studying online, which means my schedule is almost exclusively available for petsitting! Happy to travel for overnights too.

I'm super passionate about animals and the environment - I come from a family of vegetarians and vets. Our household growing up over the years was home to lots of rescue cats (6 in the house when I was born..), as well as guinea-pigs, rats & gerbils from a young age, so if there are any additions to your menagerie I'd be more than happy to take care of them too!

I've stayed in many a home-away-from-home on Airbnb, so know how to be respectful of others' spaces. Anything else you want to know about me that will make you feel more secure, or if you would like to see reviews from my Airbnb or other House/Petsitter websites, just let me know :)

I adore cats, but am very aware of their varying temperaments, so although I'd love to cuddle all of them, understand that some prefer to just sit nearby in a calm environment.

I've babysat for young cats & kittens who zoom around the house sniffing out Dreamies, as well as snoozy 17 yr-olds who just want to sleep 23 hours a day! I'm completely comfortable with either, and since most of my cats have been rescues, I'll happily adapt to whatever level of attention they need.

I have experience administering various medications (oral tablets, pastes, some injections & topical ointments), so if these are necessary just let me know.

I've taken care of some pure-breds with extremely specific routines & needs (Siamese, Russian Blue & Sphynx cats), and completely understand the importance of each individual's preferences.

I've plenty of plants spread about my flat (I seem to keep acquiring more every couple of months..), including a pot of lavender I've managed to keep alive for 4 years - so any gardening/plant-watering required happy to do so too :)
