Cat lover in Gilmerton area.

Hello, I'm Daniela, but I go by Dani. I'm originally from Argentina (but no, I don't know Messi personally xD) and I've been a proud Edinburgh resident for five years now.

I love cats. My family and I have always had cats at home, and I'm used to spending my time with cats with different personalities.

Currently I'm a cat mummy to Charlie (a tabby) and Millie (a long-haired fluffy one). They're both 4 years old and my husband and I adopted them together. Best decision ever, they are the heart and soul of our home. Charlie (AKA "Chachi/Chacho/Chach) is active, athletic, her running speed and jumps are impressive. Millie (AKA "Mimo/Mimi/Milo") is quiet, extra cuddly, always looking for warm places to spend her time.

When I found out about this platform, I KNEW I had to sign up. We travel quite often, and sometimes we are away for +3 weeks at a time. I know how immense your peace of mind is when you have someone to look after your precious pets and send you photos. This is extremely valuable and I am happy to contribute and bring that relief to others.

Just a little bit about me: I'm 32 years old, and I work as a Hotel Manager in the west of Edinburgh. I'm based in Saughton but I'm fully mobile within the city. I tend to work shifts and my schedule may vary - sometimes I'm available in the mornings, some other times it might be evenings, but I can guarantee that I will always find the time for your kitty :)

I commit to visiting your cat daily and fully engaging with them. To me, spending time with animals is absolutely therapeutic. I will give them treats, make sure they are fed and that they have fresh water. I will change their litters, make sure to keep their area clean and tidy, play with them... A LOT! cuddle them and keep them company. I will also send you photos and videos of each visit. I am used to administering simple medications i.e. tablets/drops/antibiotics but not injections. I have a fantastic pair of brushing gloves that I am happy to bring along so that your cat gets nice massages :)
