About Me

My name is Lisa, I work in public health (emergency interventions) with a focus on Mental health. I love cats very much, I was living with a couple of cats when I was younger and lots of animals. Now when my friends need someone to take care of their cats while they are away they know the love I give to them so they contact me straight away. I especially love cuddling and spending time playing with the cats, I am of course happy to give them food and change their litter.

I currently take care of a lovely happy fairy kitty (monkey), Moon - a mischief scientist working for the FCO with Palmerston ❤🐈. Also learnt cat language thanks to him, need to be global!

I also enjoy combing the cats if they like it & doing anything that contributes to their routine into happiness and comfort.

The more technical aspects: * Giving food according to your instructions - I will not take responsibility if you want me to give the cats human food (and probably refuse to do so for H&S reasons from now on) * Cleaning Litter Tray (I will also follow your instructions on that as all cats have their little fuss about that) * We've given some treatments to our cats so I don't mind doing that if needed (and with tips on how to do it if the lovely furry ball enjoys running away at that kind of time) * Cleaning after the cat - if a mess happens I will sort it out ah! * Letting the cat out - I will admit I am not too comfortable, as I really want to make sure the prince or princess may be coming back. If you would like me to do so, I am more likely to do that during an early evening visit

  • If there is anything that needs to be done regularly in your home while you are away (eg: watering plants, etc.) as long as it remains an "easy task" I am happy to do that - make sure you specify clearly and show me how to do so!

    I cannot recommend Lisa enough! She took the time to get to know Willow before our trip and was very well prepared. She spent at least 20 minutes with her during each visit and even sat with her for a few hours one day when Willow was particularly anxious. Our kitty has really grown fond of her and it’s clear that Lisa genuinely loves doing this!

    Lisa is honestly a superstar! My cats warmed up to her almost immediately - they came out to see her instead of hiding under the duvet. I’m rarely at ease when travelling but Lisa is such a great communicator and I trust her wholeheartedly. You could tell she has genuine care for the cats. Highly recommend!! 💕

    Lisa was just phenomenal. You want someone grounded, with a genuine love and affinity for cats, practical, and who will take the pains to send you the videos and photos that makes all the difference - not only did she do all of the above, she went far over and above.

    She looked after Misha for two weeks, the longest he'd ever been without me, and came back to a happy, playful and relaxed boy. She really is fantastic.
