I just love our feline friends

I’m retired now so time is not an issue. I love all creatures great and small and have done so for as long as I can remember. I currently have one puss called Poppy who was a rescue along with her kitten. We intended to get a kitten but mum was looking so forlorn she came with her baby. I have had 5 cats over the years. All have been rescue: Mittens, Brillo, Tigana, Poppy and Daisy. All have been such characters and we’ve loved them all, with their own individual personalities and idiosyncrasies. Our Poppy lives very happily alongside Lola and Nukka our Goldie and Lab, who spend much of the time cuddled up together on their sofa. I just can’t get enough lap time with my pets and I know just how important that can be for their well being. Equally, I appreciate, just like us hoomans, not all puss like the tactile treatment and that’s okay too. I often visit my son and partner’s cat who lives close by just to break up her day and give her cuddles and attention. She is a little poorly so she gets the extra special treatment!! I am reliable, trustworthy and can supply character references if required. I’ve worked in the NHS most of my working life and like to think of myself as a caring snd compassionate person. I think that’s about it.

I’m happy to liaise with owners and to be flexible to cater for both owner and pet wherever possible. I can feed and let out if required and return to let back in. I can administer meds but not injections. I would also be happy to discuss any other specific needs if applicable.
