About Me
Happy Whiskers Deliverer
Hello! I’m Giulia, a lifelong cat lover who firmly believes that no day is complete without a purr, a head-bump, or a slow blink. My childhood cat, Miu’, was wonderfully wild and independent, and she helped me through some difficult years. After moving from Italy to Japan and now the UK, I’ve never been able to have a cat of my own again; so catsitting is truly the best part of my life.
I’ve been catsitting for many years, and I now have three years of experience on Cat in a Flat, with glowing reviews, returning clients, and a wide range of cats in my care. I’ve looked after everything from confident 4-month-old kittens to elderly cats who need a gentler touch, and I adapt easily to each cat’s pace and personality.
Whether it’s a stay-over or daily visits, I’m very happy to offer cuddles, playtime, calm company, and all the basics: food, water, litter, brushing, keeping an eye on their favourite spots, and caring for anything specific in your home (climbers, toys, scratch posts, blankets, catnip pots, etc). I never force attention, I let cats approach me when they’re ready, and I pride myself on reading their mood. Most cats manage to train me to their preferences very quickly!
I don’t do this job for the money (though it’s of course appreciated); I do it because I genuinely love spending time with cats. For this reason, I keep my rates steady: I’d rather continue seeing the cats I’ve bonded with, than raise my prices and risk losing any of them.
If you’re looking for someone warm, trustworthy, and respectful of your cat’s boundaries, I’d be delighted to look after your furry house monarch while their human peasants are away.
Happy to give my services, lots of cuddles, playtime and company to the owner of the house while the human peasants are away. I take care of the basics: food, water, litter, check on their favourite places and anything in your house that it's specific for the cat (climbers, toys, scratch towers, catnip pots, blankets), brushing if needed and check/restock basic supplies.
I don't force my presence on cats and I'm used to respect their wishes, giving them attention and physical contact only when they are actually ok with and wishing for it: I had been told that the training procedure with cats is difficult, but I'm sure yours will have me trained quite quickly to its need.
