Caroline the cat whisperer

Hello I’m Caroline,

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile page.

I have had my own cats for the past 40 years and prior to that, as a child growing up, we always had cats too. They were always a well loved part of our family.

I have recently retired from the NHS after working for more than 40 years as a nurse. I am absolutely loving my new life & looking after cats on ‘Cat in a Flat’ is a fabulous part of this.

I completely understand your anxiety about allowing a stranger like me into your home when you go away, I also understand your reluctance to leave your well loved feline. But stress not, you can checkout my reviews and know you can trust me to care for your cat or cats as I would my own. Then you can go away & relax. I will really enjoy looking after your cats- that I can promise you. I believe cats not only need food and water and a clean litter tray, but also play, company and love. I will provide all this for your cat or cats and I will love every minute of it.

I will call in on your cat/cats and make sure all is well. I will always make sure they have fresh food and water and will have a game if that’s what they like. I will offer cuddles and strokes but realise your cat may feel a bit nervous as you are away. They may prefer me to just sit quietly with them for a while, in which case that’s fine too. I will clean out their litter tray if they have one, ensuring it is always topped up with clean litter. I’ll take photos for you to reassure you while you’re away so you can relax and enjoy yourself

    Casper was so happy and chilled when we got home. A sure sign Caroline did a great job, he's an indoor cat so can be pretty sensitive to change. Caroline also gave me daily updates and pictures. Thank you! 100% booking with Caroline again.🥰

    Caroline is fantastic, our cat was very well looked after. We had regular updates with pictures which were great. She also went a little extra checking an open window, taking a parcel inside and emptying the bin. I would thoroughly recommend her. Thank you Caroline 😀

    Caroline looked after our two cats for a week, she was so caring and looked after them so well I'm not sure that they even noticed we had gone away. Regular photos of them and notes to let us know how they were. Really can't rate Caroline highly enough and we will be getting her back next time we are away.

    Couldn’t ask for a better cat sitter! Caroline was wonderful, going the extra mile to ensure our fur babies were well and truly taken care of! Nothing was too much trouble and the entertaining updates each day to let us know what had been going on really put us at ease. Caroline was thoughtful, respectful and trustworthy and her experience in looking after cars really showed. Willow and Wilson were not really bothered about us returning home and were super chilled which goes to show how well they were taken care of as they didn’t seem to miss us at all. 🤣 Would have Caroline look after our cats again in a heartbeat!

    Caroline was an amazing Catsitter, updating us daily with photos. Went the extra mile putting bins out and collecting post. She was lovely, friendly,100% trust worthy, considerate and very caring. Cannot recommend her enough and will definitely use her again. 20/10!!!!!
