About Me

Shirina

Hello my name is shirina my profession is a mental health practitioner. My first connection with a cat was through my uncle when I was 10 of whom I got very close to. Through out his life he had had a few cats of which I used to sit when he was away. Working within mental health I found I was very good using animals to help with therapy. So I got myself one. He passed away last year and I realised how much space he took up in our house. So I indeed got a kitty of whom now my daughter has a play mate.

I love cats as they speak beyond what we hear. One of the reasons I'd like to do this is to make a cats days by giving them joy whilst I'm there.

My service is to feed, entertain, clean and generally allow the cat to feel comfy. I give hugs, strokes and talk to cats. If there's others things wanted like combing etc just let me know and I'll make sure it's done. I specifically love to play with cats.

    Shirina has been amazing each time she came to visit our young cat and since we met her we now know that we can leave our cat in good care every time! She is reliable, helpful and caring and we really love the little videos and photos that Shirina sends every time she visits. We know that our cat really likes spending time with her in our absence!

    Shirina was great - she sent me updates every morning and evening to let me know how Tony was doing. Tony is a particularly nervous cat and she spent time with him to make sure he felt comfortable. I would absolutely use Shirina again and recommend her to anyone.

    Shirina was patient with our Ollie, as he took some time to come out of his shell. She made sure to send me regular and detailed updates and allayed any concerns that I had. Ollie was well taken care of and slowly but surely became friends with Shirina :) highly recommend!

    My cat adores Shirina! Shirina plays with her, takes time to keep her company and cuddles, and gives her everything she needs! Other than the cats' needs being met and the litter being fresh, you'd never know anyone had been in, Shirina leaves every as she finds it. She also sends messages, texts and videos, and is really friendly, so I'm always happy knowing my cat is being looked after when I'm away. Highly recommended!

    Shirina is fantastic! She initially came around to meet myself and my cats, Shirina look after my cats for a week and throughout the visits she let me know how they were doing with a few texts, pictures and videos. I'm very happy with her and would definitely recommend her :) Thanks Shirina!!!
