About Me

Experienced cat sitter, owner and volunteer

Hello, I'm Sally! I live in Surbiton with my husband and daughter. I’m currently on maternity leave but my career is in health policy evaluation.

I have a real love of cats, having grown up with several. My husband and I adopted an amazing cat, Saffy, a few years ago from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home but we sadly lost her in 2024 at the beautiful age of 18.

Volunteering and animal welfare are big passions of mine. I have previously volunteered in the cattery at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home with a regular weekly 4-hour shift for a year and a half. As a volunteer, I helped to look after the cats in their care, clean, feed, play, cuddle and generally give some much-needed love to all of the cats in the home.

I have also previously volunteered with the Cats Protection League, again in a cattery support role.

Cats have such big and varied personalities, so I like to be led by them! I know that not all cats are comfortable with cuddles straight away; some are completely driven by their love of dreamies, but others are more interested in pouncing on the nearest toy. I’m patient with all cats and respond to their needs - I’ll be loving and caring for your cat, recognising their needs, boundaries and preferences.

    Sally was brilliant and my Monty was a very happy boy while I was away. I really appreciated Sally’s communication, Monty updates with photos and time she spent giving him affection. Thanks Sally would recommend her to anybody :)

    Sally did a brilliant job looking after Wallace. He's been a bit poorly so we were feeling quite nervous, plus he had some extra needs in terms of medication and food.
