About Me

Cat Sitter Pia

I am a cat lover from Brazil, but have been living in London for 16 years. I work in marketing for an academic publisher and work mostly from home, with fairly flexible hours. I was adopted by a wonderful black cat 6+ years ago and have since been in love with cats - offering to look after friends' cats when they were away and generally just saying hello to every cat I see out and about!

I would love to look after your furry friend when you are not able to be around, as I don't like the thought of cats feeling alone - I always look after other people's cats in the way that I wish others would care for mine when I'm away!

Here is how I will look after your cat:

  • Feeding your cat according to your instructions and offering treats if allowed
  • Topping-up/changing their water bowl
  • Clearing their litter
  • Giving them lots of cuddles and playing with them
  • I will strive to stay as long as I can, so your cat feels like he's being looked after and not just being fed. I sometimes bring a book with me as I found that some of the cats I've cared for liked just having a friendly presence around (with your permission, of course!)

It’s a relief to know we can rely on someone to feed them and administer their medication while we’re away and that we’ll come back to happy cats.     Maria was fantastic looking after our cat whilst we were away for Christmas. She kept us regularly updated and we felt our cat was very well looked after and really loved spending time cuddling with Maria. Highly recommend and will be using her again :)
