cat sitter?
About Me
Very experienced and reliable cat sitter!
I am currently a proud crazy cat mum of my 6 year old, black short haired domestic cat JJ. He is more than just a pet, he's part of the family in which my Mother and I look after. Recently my cat, JJ, out of the blue stopped eating entirely, it got to the point where he needed a feeding tube and yet the vets were mystified at what could have caused this. He recovered and then had a string of unfortunate events. He had to get his toe amputated as it got stuck in a gate. Shortly after I noticed his breathing was off and the vets had discovered one of the chambers of his heart had become enlarged. He's now on medication which he'll need to take for the rest of his life. I blame it on the curse of 2020. However, he's a fighter and pulls through every time. I believe this shows I have experience of working with sick and injured cats as well as having an eye for being able to detect when something is off.
In addition, what spurred me to apply to this website is that I started cat sitting for an old colleague from my previous job. From there, I was asked to cat sit for 3 more of my colleagues this year alone. (I have a lot of great references)!
I enjoy cat cuddles and simply just chilling with kitties. They are welcome to walk all over me and snuggle up as much as they desire.
I'm happy to clean up after cats - fur balls and all! I love the feeling of changing a litter tray to a fresh clean one. (I'm one of those clean freaks).
I am experienced at issuing medication as I have been through it all with my cat!
I'm also up for and may prefer to house sit too, depending on the location and length of the cat sitting.
