I am officially retired but do some counselling, editing and am a full time grandparent, who loves the outdoors, my garden and mountains I have always had at least one cat, and have a deep respect for their loving, unpredictable ways, including their anarchic tendencies. I have a soft spot for ginger cats and recently lost one. My present cat is a grey one, a gentle intelligent soul.

I love visiting cats and looking after them when their owners are away and getting to know them. I have cared for many different kinds of cats with another cat sitting agency It has been said I have a way with cats, and I think it is my respect and love for their individual natures that contributes to this. Each one is so different and I learn a lot from spending time with them.

I like to ensure they enjoy their food, and have fresh water, and a clean litter tray if this is what they use. I like grooming them when they want this and/or if the owner wishes me to! I always cuddle them as and when they agree or ask for this, and I give them space when they want. I am always happy to water plants when I am there and of course having a trustworthy cat sitter is an added security for your home when you go away. I will give a what app pic update and am known for the fact I will write about each visit on paper if this is something people would enjoy
