About Me
East London Pawfect Pampering Service
50-year old Eastender and lifelong cat lover; previously worked 24 years in Financial Services; more recently working in Mental Health Social Care and Hospitality, and for Royal Mail.
I genuinely love all animals, but cats have always been my favourite, and all my pets have been cats - I love their natural beauty, poise and grace; their independent streak but also the unconditional affection and companionship they provide...the cats I've had over the years have got me through some extremely tough times, and I don't know how I'd have coped without them. ❤️💕🐾
I've had several cats over the years - my first, Flossie, was pretty feral all her life, except with me - when I first got her (for my 9th bd) she decided I was her mummy and that was that. She was fiercely intelligent...being born feral, she was of course a moggy mix but I'm sure she had something Oriental in her, perhaps Abyssinian. She lived until almost 20, and was a once-in-a-lifetime companion.
I've been regularly providing both "pop-in" and "live-in" catsitting services for friends and family for 20 years or more now, and thought it was high time I went professional!
I live in Plaistow, East London, and am happy to cover the near vicinity (I've set my radius for now to 1km, but maybe I can widen this in time).
Be assured - I don't just pop in, feed and water your babies and then leave.
I love spending time with cats, and will get at least as much out of the interaction as them (and you), so I spend lots of time getting to know them (always on their own terms and in their own time...pressuring a cat to socialise in a hurry does them, and you, no favours), playing with them, stroking/cuddling them (if that's their thing - for some cats this is unbearably stressful, so I will initially let them show me, in their own time, what makes them tick, and I work with that) and, if you would like, just spending time chilling there, to give them the comfort of a human presence in the house, instead of them being on their own for quite so much of the time while you're away.
Treats / food / meds / playtime etc. will always be according to your guidelines, to the letter.
I've done plenty of catsits for poorly pusses who needed several different types of meds given at various different intervals, with no issues...sometimes with more than one cat in the same house needing special attention of this kind.
I look forward to making friends with your furry babies very soon!! As I'm just starting out on here I have no reviews so far but, I promise, you won't regret booking me and neither will your cat companions!! ❤️🐾
