Hello, I’m Tina. I’ve owned cats since I was young, most recently Frida and Barley, two rescue cats, mother and son. Before that Ripper and then Fluffy. All my cats have been very much loved, with different needs at different times of life including special diets and medication. I've done my fair bit of cat sitting too over the years and I understand the impact of new stimuli and the importance of calm and routine alongside play and cuddles.

I’m taking a rest from full time cat ownership but want to continue to have cats in my life. Cat sitting is one way to do that and the income means I can donate to my preferred charities including Lothian Cat Rescue.

I know how important it is to have trusted care for your loved ones while you’re away and I can absolutely provide that. They will be played with, cuddled, fed, watered and all hygiene, grooming and medicine needs taken care of with direction from you on their preferred routine.

Your home will be treated respectfully and I will take guidance from you on your preferred security measures so that you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

I work at the university, and live in Marchmont. I’m a botanist by training so I can be trusted to water the plants : ) Outside of work I sing in a couple of choirs.

I provide an eco-friendly service, walking or biking to see your cats, which does limit how far I can travel. I cover the Grange, Marchmont and Sciennes on foot/bike. If in doubt please ask.

Once you know you want to go ahead with a booking, we can confirm your cat’s personal care plan, arrangements to keep your home secure and any plant watering etc I can help with. While you’re away I'll visit once or twice a day to make sure your cats are happy and healthy. I'll send videos and updates on each visit so you know how they're doing and can relax and enjoy your trip.
