About Me
Furrendly cat sitter!
Hey! I’m Kez and I work for charity where I have been through a DBS check. I’ve lived in Leeds for over 15 years now and have been a Cats of Burley member from the beginning - my tote bag is worn to bits!
I’ve had cats throughout most of my time in Leeds - Munch Bunch (yes, he’s named after a yoghurt!) and Girl Cat, who I adopted after neighbours left them behind.
Indie came next, a stray that I found in our garden with a sore toe that needed amputating (he loved hunting for a dirty kebab!)
These babies now live with my ex/family members, so I look after other people’s cats as I have a lot of love to give.
I have fostered cats through Leeds Cat Rescue, including one with HPV and thyroid issues. I have looked after cats with diabetes and epilepsy, and I am comfortable with giving medication, although I have never had to administer an epi-pen.
I also volunteered for Cat’s Protection Charity shop for a year alongside my main job. Safe to say I’m a qualified not so crazy cat lady!
I love giving cats a good cuddle and an ear scratch, but I can also fully appreciate when they just need their own space. I’ve looked after cats with severe anxiety, elderly cats with more complex needs, and cats with tablets/syringed medication. I have never administered injections.
I always have my Kindle with me, so I’m happy to sit with your cat for a while so they can get used to my scent and presence. Everything is done at their own speed!
I generally like to visit whenever best fits in with your cat’s usual routine so as not to disrupt them. I work 9-5 in town but can sometimes be a little flexible with this.
Please feel free to ask me any further questions!
