Hi, I'm Amy!

I would absolutely love to be the one to take care of your cat (or other pets) while you enjoy some time away. I have always been a big cat lover, and have had many as pets over the years! All unique, with their own personalities and quirks, but all so great! I have a background working with both domestic and wildlife animals. I was a Guide Dog Trainer, a Feline Care Assistant at a specialist feline clinic and a wildlife rehabilitator for many years of my career. I believe I hold a broad knowledge in animal care, behaviour and welfare. It is my greatest passion. I live in Somerset with my husband and our rescue Kitty, Daphne! I am trustworthy, hold a full enhanced DBS certificate and would treat you home with respect.

As someone who is quite particular about how my own cats are cared for when I am away on holiday, I completely understand the worry that can be felt by owners, leaving their furry/feathered/scaly family members to be cared for by someone else. I would listen carefully to individual instruction, likes and dislikes and honestly look after them as if they were my own. I am a real animal lover and their welfare is the biggest priority for me. I will spend the time giving attention, playing, feeding etc or simply be company if they would prefer no physical contact. Over the years I have owned some very shy and anxious cats and I appreciate that some will find a stranger in their home quite worrying. I have previously worked in veterinary settings and am confident and gentle in administering topical and oral medications if required. Happy to water plants and pop the bins out etc if needed!
