About Me

Cat sitter in Canada Water and beyond - free meet & greet before booking!

Hello, fellow cat lovers! I'm Flávia and I am originally from Portugal, where I owned and cared for six cats (at different times) and loved many others. I don't remember a time in my life where cats were not in the picture - at home, at family's places, at friends', or just cats in the street that I never missed a chance to socialise with (as you can see in my profile picture, when I met a cat at his doorstep in Bath!). To my great sorrow, landlord-mandated requirements mean I cannot keep a cat in my current UK residence, so I have surplus love for kittens in the area :) I have been a cat sitter previously (in Sutton, UK), and I am now looking forward to offering my services in the SE16 area.

I'm happy to offer a free 'meet & greet' so I can get to know you and your cat (and so you can get to know me) before you book my service.

I am well accustomed to male and female cats of all temperaments, and I know how to take the time to gain a cat's trust. My previous feline customers quickly learned that my visits are playtime (or cuddly time - for those who prefer cuddles to play!), and we always have a great time together. Feeding, watering, cleaning litter boxes, grooming (for those extra long-haired furry friends), and daily pictures or videos via email or WhatsApp all included in the service. I am also able to administer insulin injections.

In addition, I'm experienced with and happy to care for plants (if you happen to have cat-safe plants and manage the miracle of having both cats and house plants!)

    Flávia is one of the best cat sitters we've ever had. Very diligent, excellent communication, and really good knowledge and understanding of our cat. We immediately had a lot of confidence in leaving our cat in her care and this was absolutely justified. Will certainly use her again and would recommend highly.

    I can not recommend Flavia enough! She diligently came in every day and tended to Hans all the while making sure the flat was kept neat and tidy. Our cat was happy and stress free. Flavia made sure to keep us up to date with plenty of pictures and messages on a daily basis. Couldnt have asked for more. Thanks Flavia, Hans loved you!

    Such a nice person who looks after our cat with so much affection. She was able to administer his insulin injection twice daily, feed him and check on the cat litter. She also gave us daily updates with photos on WhatsApp each time she went in to see him. We are so pleased to have found her as we will not hesitate in using her services again and can highly recommend her to anyone who wants their cat well looked after while they’re away.

    We're so glad we met Flavia! She took wonderful care of our cat, who adored her. We trusted her completely and she sent lots of updates so we had no need to worry. When we got home everything was perfect, I just had to apologise to the cat that I was not Flavia like he was expecting! We would definitely hire her again.
