About Me

Emma G

Hi there!

My name is Emma, I am 39 and work within the NHS and live in the Inverness area. I am trustworthy and due to the nature of my job - I have to be organised. I work Tuesday - Friday (generally 0800-1630).

I live with my husband, step son, cat and dog. My dog is Monty, a French Bulldog - is a mischief maker. My cats, Archie and Biffy are British Shorthairs and the most beautiful boys and apple of my eye. I flew to Manchester and drove a one way hire car back up to Inverness to get Archie - that is dedication! Biffy we got from Banff, not such a long distance.

I have had cats all my life and love meeting new kitties! Previously I have had a Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cats, British Shorthair and moggies. I love them all. I have always been passionate about cats.

I have Disclosure Scotland, my current certificate is held by my employer, I have previous version with my maiden name available on request. On occasion, I may need to take my 9 year old step son with me on visits if hubby is working. He is very respectful towards animals and loves meeting new kitties. He gets to play with them whilst I do all the hard work 😂

I am happy to come to your house once or twice a day depending on you and cats your needs. I will feed them, wash food and water bowls, giving fresh water and food. I will also clean litter trays if required. If your hoover is visible I will likely hoover too 🙈

I will play with your cats or let them have a fuss or both - really depends on what your cat wants at the time. I will spend a minimum 20 mins with them.

If you are away on holiday, I can water plants and put bins out etc. Just let me know.

I am happy to send you picture/text updates when I visit so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is well taken care of.

Please be assured that your cat/s will be well looked after and loved whilst you are away so you can enjoy your trip and not worry about them.

    We highly recommend, Emma! Our cat Lily received care and attention needed when we were away. We get regular updates, making us feel reassured about our cat. Emma is reliable and trustworthy. She goes above and beyond on helping us not just with our cat but our hamster and the house as well. We will definitely use Emma's service again!

    Emma has been fantastic with our old and shy cat, having chats with her and keeping us updated on every visit. The communication before our trip was easy and we felt very comfortable going on holiday. Our cat is very relaxed since our return, so she definitely liked Emma's company.     Emma has been amazing, looking after our two house cats for a week while we went away on holiday. Completely trust worthy, she kept in touch every day and sent us lovely pictures so we didn’t miss the cats too much. We came home to a house cleaner than we left it and two very happy, relaxed cats! Emma is friendly, kind and very easy to get to know. We would highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!

    We can’t praise Emma highly enough. She is honest, trustworthy, does exactly what she says she is going to do at the time she says she is going to do it. Good old fashion values that are not lost. She just loves cats and this is so obvious even from the out set.
